Why Mindfulness?
Our SUFFERING is caused by reminiscing and ruminating on the PAST or fretting about the FUTURE. Mindfulness helps us notice more, it helps us increasing our awareness of the present moment, this broadens our XXXXX
To live in the NOW - the present moment is indeed a PRESENT (GIFT)!
Mindfulness practice teaches us to OBSERVE, to PAUSE and to CHOOSE between RESPONDING and REACTING (re-enacting old patterns). Being able to choose means we get to enjoy greater FREEDOM.
We develop observation over criticism. This helps come to a NEUTRAL (non-duality) and COMPASSIONATE.
Mindful helps us meet ALL PARTS (shadows) of self.
