About the Creative Hour
These sessions are reserved for creative play. Explorative, meditative, zen inducing. No rules apply.
Creative Hour is contemplative inquiry and understanding ways that this can be transferred to other activities.
Creative Hour is unique as I bring my Occupational Therapy coaching skills, homeopathy and the Five Elements onboard as we, through creative expression consider, function in:
transitioning between the activities
demand of task and overwhelm
starting but not finishing
low motivation vs obsession (or/and hyper focus)
time pressures
purpose, achievement, praise
all in the context of every day activities that may struggle with in every day activities and begin to embody the pace and rhythm that is more aligned with us.

About Me
Facts:
I have always enjoyed making things.
Choosing my career as a teen, I wanted to study design, but did not have my dad’s support to pursue this.
My friend who studied Occupational Therapy (OT) suggested that I too should study OT as I liked making things (this was at a place and time where OT had a strong flavour of basket making and as such did not appeal). Eight years later I made it to the university and I did end up studying OT and had a fulfilling career working as OT, but It was not until recently, 25 after my initial qualifying, that I first got to support clients with craft based activities.
Three reasons why am I’m introducing this hands on creative component to my existing healing and coaching business:
I once caught myself sharing with a group of clients that I will to be an artist in my next life. This statement prompted me to live my life NOW and I made a conscious effort to make more time for creativity - privately, with an occasional invitation being extended to my nieces. Then….
… during Christmas holidays of 2025, my dear friend Jo and I marvelled at the positive vibes that making crafts has had on our mental health and wellbeing.
This and the fact that I see working with my clients as having a visitors come to my home where we connect, share, at times play and feel at ease gave me a permission to create an environment where I can share these qualities beyond healing and coaching session, and Creative Hour was born.
